I inserted the batteries in the ball, but it did not light up ...

Answer :
? Have you checked whether the batteries have been placed in the right direction?
? Are the batteries properly charged?

I inserted the batteries and the ball only came on for a few minutes and then went off ...

Answer :
? On inserting the batteries, a control phase takes place to check whether the electronic circuit is functioning normally. Following the check, which lasts 5 minutes, the system puts itself on automatic standby. To switch on the ball, all you have to do is put it in a dark place for a second (enclosed in your hands, in a closed drawer or cupboard, in a dark room, etc.), after which it will work for two hours.

Although the ball lights up during the operation control phase, when I switch off the light, the ball does not light up…

Answer :
? The Looly ball only works after it is placed in a totally dark place for one to two seconds. You probably did not cut out all the light around it. Place the ball in total darkness for one or two seconds. Or else, you can turn the ball around on its holder in order to optimize the light sensor and thereby find the ideal position for it vis-à-vis your personal lighting.

I decorated part of my shop window with light balls but they are not working well – I can't manage to keep them alight for two hours.

Answer :
? The Looly balls are designed for family use. The lighting found in display windows is often too strong for our products. The light is never totally cut off, which is why the Looly ball does not light up... Our research department is currently working on developing a range of products for professional use that enable usage in well-lit areas...

I have two Christmas trees in my garden, what can I do to light up the balls by cutting off ambient light totally?

Answer :
? For the moment, Looly balls can work outside, but only under cover. They must not be exposed to rain as water infiltrates into the electronic system, leading to malfunctioning or the printed circuit is complete destruction of the printed circuit. In order to get your balls to light up, enclose them in the palms of your hands for one or two seconds so that they are in the dark.
